Whats On at the Club - SEPTEMBER 2024
Welcome back to all those who have pitted their wits against the outdoor greens this Summer. There have been lots of successes and well done to those who have been victorious at whatever level.
All of our members may wish to take note of what we have in store during September . If you can lend a hand in any way, let us know.
Here's what's on at the club throughout that period - we're always pleased to see you so come along and participate or just watch. The cafe's always open and the coffee's always on!

- Tue 17th September 2024 - Happy Wanderers Club in Restaurant
- Sat 21st September 2024 - Club Open Day 10.30am - 4.30pm - Know of any friends or family who would appreciate a go at our great sport? Bring them down!
Free bowls, free cup of tea/coffee and £10 free bowling credit for any new member joining on the day
- Sun 22nd September 2024 - Lincoln v Louth in our first Club Friendly of the season. Come and lend your support!
- Tue 24th September (and weekly thereafter) Dr Sand's Mindfulness Doodling Class - More Here
- Sat 28th September 2024 - MIXED B TEAM v LOUTH - First home game for our Mixed B squad. Fancy a game? Let us know, or just come along, (enjoy a coffee and a cake) and support!
- Sun 29th September 2024 - CARPET BOWLS EXHIBITION 12.30pm Rinks 3 & 4 - Come along and see the game of Carpet bowls played at the highest level by two England select teams. There's also the opportunity to participate afterwards. Carpet bowls experience does help players 'read the head' in our game and several of our players used to play back in the 80s and 90s including GM Danny Brown.
Demonstration by the English Carpet Bowling Association with special thanks to Grand Prix Player Michael Laydon, himself a current international and English title holder at Carpet Bowls.
The cafe will be open and the coffee is on - Come and have a look!
- Mon 30th September 2024 - GRAND PRIX returns with Lincoln's Kev Rands, Wayne Willgress and Mark Royal in action from 8am - Come along and watch the action throughout the day!
Mark Royal will set up the JACK & BOWL ROADSHOW late on 30th for an all day 1st October Roadshow in the Boardroom
