NEW CLUB KIT PANEL UPDATE
The Club Kit Panel met on Wednesday 31st Jan to discuss the initial/principal ideas for any potential new kit.
After a full discussion the panel felt a full kit (trousers, shorts, shirt & potentially jackets) would be preferable, which means steering away from the traditional white trousers. The panel were unanimous about retaining the Red, White & Blue colour scheme which it was felt would appeal to most of the membership, with the trousers/shorts being either royal blue or black.
What are your thoughts?
Discussions around a new team name also took place with some ideas floated being:
- Lincoln “Hurricanes”
- Lincoln “Bombers”
- Lincoln “Highflyers”
- Lincoln “Tanks”
- Lincoln “Spitfires”
It was also debated whether or not to introduce a team name or whether to simply remain as “Lincoln & District IBC".
What are your thoughts?
Leading on from that, discussions focused on whether an image relating to the name (if chosen) would actually show on the shirt design.

The next stage (in the comings weeks) is to approach manufacturers to produce designs from our brief.
