New Member Information
Dress - Players
Leagues: Dress shall be predominantly white above the waist with grey tailored or bowls trousers/skirts for all league matches and competitions. Please note that cargo trousers will no longer be allowed for league matches from this season. Failure to comply will lead to a request to leave the green.
Club Finals: Dress for all club finals shall be whites (except for the finals of the Afternoon and Late League Knockout Cups which will be the same as for League Matches).
Roll Ups: Dress code for roll-ups shall be ‘smart casual’ and is at the discretion of the Manager/bar staff but as a general rule, if members are of tidy appearance they will be allowed to bowl. Members requiring roll-ups are respectfully requested to wear greys and whites after 6.30pm and at weekends please.
Footwear: At all times when on the green, flat soled bowls shoes must be worn. Shoes must be changed to go outside and changed back again before going on the playing surface. Do not arrive in your bowls shoes - change into them once inside the building.

As a member/player, you agree to:
- Have respect for the club and its facilities.
- Be appropriately dressed for matches with the correct footwear.
- Set a good example to others and show respect to them whether they are opponents, officials, spectators or team-mates.
- Accept the marker/umpires decision.
- Do not use inappropriate language or actions.
- Accept success and failure, victory and defeat, equally.
Buddies
If you are new to our Club and finding it difficult to navigate your way around, we have a group of long standing bowlers who have put themselves forward to become 'Buddies'!
If you feel that you would benefit from this service, please contact our Head Coach, Steve Derby who will happily put you in contact with one of our buddies. All of our buddies will be more than happy to meet with you, answer any questions that you may have, and show you around the Club.
